ABSTRACT
This article aims to present the importance of working with the playful in early childhood education in times of pandemic in remote education, in order to analyze how this pedagogical practice can contribute to the teaching-learning process in distance education, it sought to be guided by analytical procedures from the collection and analysis of data in the maternal I class of the Zenaide Nunes dos Santos integrated center for early childhood education in the municipality of Navirai MS with the contribution of the regent teacher. The methodology adopted in the study was bibliographical research, the main theoretical foundations used were Paulo Nunes Almeida (2008), Tizuko Morchida Kishimoto (1994) e (1999), Jean Piajet (1975), Vygotsky (1989) e Paulo Freire (1996). The pandemic as a result of covid 19 required an adaptation of the school world and the new process of child autonomy. This reality takes on a new stalemate, which is dealing with early childhood education away from the classroom, thus seeking to promote comprehensive and autonomy of the child within their family reality, so that the playful becomes an important tool in remote teaching in the learning process.
