Biography: Patricia Maria de Araujo 40 anos de muito aprendizado, sou de Salto da Divisa cidade acolhedora, vivi por 23 anos, e estudei em colégio público, finalizando o ensino médio, vim para Eunápolis trabalhar e tentar estudar mais. Conseguindo ingressar na faculdade e graduei em Enfermagem, concluída em 2015, na Faculdades Integradas do Extremo Sul da Bahia. Trabalhei por 17 anos em uma clínica de diálise e há 19 atuo no Hemoba de Eunápolis. Pós-graduada em Nefrologia e Hematologia com ênfase em banco de Sangue. Cursos em liderança, dinamismos, estágio hospitalar, congressos de Hematologia e Hemoterapia e em nefrologia, artigos publicados, participação do dia Mundial da Limpeza 2022, Simpósio Internacional de Resíduos de Serviço de Saúde 2019, Capacitação em Água, Saneamento e Higiene (ASHI) e Prevenção e Controle de Infecções nas Escolas (PCI) realizada pela Unicef e AVSI Brasil como parte do projeto de Resposta à Covid 19 no Seminário Brasileiro, Palestras sobre a Doação Voluntária de Sangue, Saúde Pública, Seminários.

ABSTRACT: Pregnancy in chronic renal patients undergoing Renal Replacement Therapy, in the past, was uncommon, but the increase in pregnancies in these patients has transformed this scenario and made this reality more frequent, despite challenges. Going through this maternal phase creates uncertainty and fear in most pregnant women, however, it highlights the particular concern of pregnant women with this condition, given the additional challenges of reconciling the pre-existing condition, treatment and physiological changes during pregnancy. This experience report aims to show the successful management of an unexpected pregnancy in a 24-year-old patient, on dialysis for two years and six months and with a history of severe heart disease, from 20 weeks of pregnancy until the predominant birth. Once the pregnancy was confirmed, strict changes were imposed on the conduct of hemodialysis treatment during the gestational period, with the aim of reducing clinical and obstetric complications for the maternal-fetal binomial, such as transfer to daily dialysis and nutritional changes, in addition to leaving the nephrology team under surveillance, as these changes can be constant
